Water Treatment We Install
We work on four kinds of systems: whole-home filtration for the taste and smell of treated city water, water softeners for scale, reverse osmosis for drinking and cooking water, and UV treatment for an added layer of protection against microbes. Installations are handled by subcontracted master-licensed plumbers, so the work is done to code. If an installation-related defect turns up in the first year, our workmanship coverage takes care of it, and the manufacturer backs the equipment for 5 years on valves and 10 years on tanks.

Whole-Home Filtration
One filter on the main line so every shower, sink and appliance in your home gets water without the chlorine taste and smell.

Water Softeners
We measure your water's hardness first, then size and set up a softener that cuts scale without wasting salt or water.

Reverse Osmosis
An under-sink reverse osmosis system gives you clean, good-tasting water for drinking, coffee and ice, without the weekly bottled water run.

UV Water Treatment
A UV lamp that treats every gallon entering your home for bacteria and viruses, with no chemicals and a small, steady power draw.

About Water Filtration Coppell
We are a small water treatment company working in Coppell and the towns around it. We spend our days in garages and under kitchen sinks, looking at water heaters crusted with scale and faucets with white buildup around the aerator.
Our approach is plain. Find out what is in your water, fix what needs fixing and leave the rest alone. Less scale means your water heater and appliances do not have to work as hard, and that can show up in how long they last. We would rather sell you one right-sized system than three you do not need.

What Drives the Cost
No two homes get the same setup, so we wait to give a figure until we have looked at your water and your plumbing. These are the things that move the price most, and we cover each one with you while putting your quote together.
After we check your water and plumbing, you receive a written quote that separates equipment from labor. Standard professional installation comes included for qualifying homes.
- The system you pick
- An under-sink reverse osmosis unit is a smaller job than a whole-home carbon filter or a softener on the main line. Combining systems, like a carbon filter in front of a softener, adds equipment and labor.
- House size and water use
- More bathrooms and more people raise the flow your home needs. A bigger tank or filter keeps the pressure even when the shower and dishwasher run together.
- Install location
- Some homes came with a softener loop built in. Others need new pipe run to the main line, which takes more time and materials.
- Nearby drain and power
- Softeners and reverse osmosis units need a drain, and UV systems need an outlet. If either is far away, the plumber adds it.
- What the water test shows
- Very hard water or a strong chlorine smell may need more media or an extra stage. Gentler water usually needs much less.
- Upkeep over the years
- Salt, filter cartridges and UV lamps are ongoing costs after the install. We give you a rough schedule for replacing each, so you can weigh systems by what they cost over time, not just at the start.
How We Work in Your Home
We keep it simple. Look at the water, size the system to your house, install it right and tell you what it costs to keep running.
We look before we recommend
Every visit starts with your water. When the hardness reading comes back mild, we skip the softener pitch and say so. You only pay for equipment that fixes a problem you actually have.
Sized to your house, not the biggest box
We size each system to your bathrooms, your household's water use and your plumbing. A softener that is too big wastes salt and water on regeneration. One that is too small lets hard water slip through. Right sizing keeps your monthly running costs down.
Plumbing done to code
Bypass valves, drain lines and fittings go in the way the plumbing code calls for. Every joint gets checked for leaks before the tools go back in the truck.
Running costs on the table
Before you agree to anything, we go over filter change intervals, salt use, the small electrical draw of a UV lamp and the water a reverse osmosis unit sends to the drain. No surprises after the install.
A clean work area
We lay down drop cloths, keep the work to the garage or utility area where we can and haul off the packaging and old parts when we leave.
How a Job Runs
Four steps from the first phone call to clean water at the tap.
- 1
You call us
Let us know what is wrong with your water. Maybe it is spotted shower glass, a bleach odor or a stack of bottled water in the pantry. We pick a time to visit.
- 2
We test at your home
We test water from your tap and look over your plumbing, your water heater and the spots where a system could fit. A written water report lays out the results in everyday language.
- 3
Your quote in writing
We suggest what suits your water, or tell you nothing is called for. The quote spells out equipment, labor and upkeep, so you can make up your mind with no pressure.
- 4
Installation and a tour
The plumber installs the system, checks for leaks and tidies up. Before we go, you see how the bypass valve works, how to swap filters and what signs to look for.
Where We Work
Most of our installs are in Coppell and the cities that ring it. We also drive out to Carrollton, Grapevine, Irving, Lewisville, Flower Mound and Euless, along with Farmers Branch, Southlake, Addison and Highland Village.

Questions We Hear Most
- Is the city water in my home unsafe?
- City water is treated and regulated before it ever gets to your tap. Safety is rarely what people call us about. Usually they want the disinfectant taste and odor gone, less scale, or another layer of filtering for drinking water. We will not try to frighten you into buying anything.
- Does my home actually need a softener?
- The hardness reading at your tap decides it. Lots of homes get along fine without one, and then we suggest a better place for your money or leaving things alone. When the water is hard enough to coat fixtures and the inside of the water heater, a softener pays for itself.
- Will a water treatment system cut my energy bills?
- A softener may help. Scale collects inside water heaters and forces them to work harder for the same hot water, so less scale keeps the heater running efficiently. Whole-home carbon filters need no electricity. A UV system uses a little power and reverse osmosis sends some water down the drain, and we tell you about both before you decide.
- What comes with the water test?
- We test the water from your tap at your home and walk through the results with you on the spot. You also receive a written water report covering what we found and what we would suggest, if anything.
- Will filtering drop my water pressure?
- When the system is sized for your home, you should not feel a pressure drop. Trouble comes from filters that are too small or cartridges that are clogged. So we match the unit to your bathrooms and usage, and we show you when cartridges need swapping.
- Does the price include installation?
- Qualifying homes get standard professional installation included. When a home needs more, such as a new drain line or piping run to the main line, that shows up as its own line on the quote so you see it before work begins.
- What upkeep do these systems take?
- Carbon filters and reverse osmosis cartridges get changed on a schedule set by how much water you use. Softeners need salt topped up. UV lamps are replaced from time to time. You get the intervals in writing, and we show you how to handle the easy jobs on your own.
